The data that we are using - that is the numbers, people count, household count, incomes, etc., - comes from the most currently available US Census Bureau PUMS data. As of today (7-24-2009), that most current data is from the 2007 American Community Survey.

Unfortunately, the Census Bureau did not publish documentation to go along with the 2007 American Community Survey, so the documentation, usually found at the bottom of our pages, and marked by the warning that led you to this page, may not apply 100% to the data. The documentation is from the 2000 Decennial Census Long Form (which was the predecessor of the American Community Survey). Thus, the documentation should be used to help you understand the data, with the caveat that it is not always 100% accurate.
